Today, we walked in support and honor of Michelle and her battle against breast cancer. Team Michelle had a good turn out and Michelle was even able to participate in the walk after just finishing chemo 2 weeks ago. Michelle continues to amaze us all with her courage, strength, and positive attitude. You can see her contagious smile is still shining even after all she has been thru in the last 6 months. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

As sweet as pumpkin pie!
These photos are a few days late, but they are some memories that I don't want to forget from Halloween 2008. On Halloween Eve, we carved our family pumpkin. And as you can see from the pictures below, this was a hands on project for Alexis. She had a good time with the pumpkin guts and even let us know that the pumpkin passed her taste test.Helping Dad clean out the pumpkin.
This pumpkin doesn't taste too bad.
Posing proudly with her carved pumpkin!
Lexi thought this pumpkin was a perfect place for her to sit!
Somebody just got caught in the candy bucket~she loves to "play" with her candy!
A Proud Mom Moment
Today, Lexi and I were at our usual Tuesday, story time at the library. The teacher was playing some music and everyone was singing along. Then, all of a sudden, Alexis stood up from my lap with her bells in her hand and started walking across the room to the teacher. When she got to the teacher she just sat down like she totally knew what she was doing and had no reaction at all to the fact that she just walked all by herself. I was sitting back trying to contain my excitement, not to interrupt the class. I was so proud of her, as I am with anything she does! Hopefully, this is a new habit and not something that she soon forgets about. We'll keep you posted, maybe we will catch a video of it.

Goodbye to Auntie Sage
Today, we said goodbye to our dear friend, Sage. :( I met Sage in August 2005 at my previous employer, P.F. Chang's. She was a single girl who moved to the valley from California and we soon became good friends. Our friendship turned into being an "Arizona" family for each other. As soon as, Alexis arrived Sage found herself right at home being one of Lexi's Arizona Aunties. Sage will be attending law school next year in California so she has moved back to Fresno to do so. Sage, we are going to miss you. Lexi is going to miss chasing you around the chair and climbing on you. Sage always offered to babysit and I think soon we are going to realize we should have taken her up on more of those offers. I don't think reality has hit us yet that Sage is no longer just a mile or two down the road and willing to stop over at a moments notice. She will still be a phone call away and is always welcome to come and visit us! Till we see you again Auntie Sage - lots of hugs and kisses and best of luck!
