Happy 2nd Birthday Madison!

 

 Happy Birthday to our little "baby"!  I can't believe you are TWO already.  You are such a funny little girl and you are always making us laugh.  You LOVE your mommy to pieces!  You have your father's personality, it's crazy how much you act like him.  You have the biggest brown eyes and blonde hair.  You really like your food.  You want to be just like your big sister, "Lesci"!  You love to give hugs and kisses and snuggle.  You enjoy climbing, running, and jumping and are always on the go.  Some of your favorite things are Elmo, Barney, Minnie Mouse, and Pooh.  You make our family the perfect foursome and we couldn't imagine our lives without you!  Happy Birthday sweet baby girl, Madi-boo!

Madison's First Day of School!

Madison is in the 2's classroom at Shepherd of the Desert preschool this year one morning a week.  This gives mommy her much needed break and Madison an opportunity to socialize with kids her age and "go to school" like her big sister.  Madison gets her "futterfly ba-pak" (butterfly backpack) on every time we talk about school!  Madison has extreme separation anxiety from mommy so we have to sneak out of the room when she isn't looking.  She had a great first day with none-to very little crying and was actually trying to comfort the other kids in her class who were crying.

Alexis' First Day of Kindergarten at Sheperd of the Desert

First day of School for Alexis!

Alexis is going to kindergarten at Shepherd of the Desert 3 days a week this year.  She has a lot of friends from her previous years at preschool in her class, as well, as some new faces.  There are lots of new things this year . . . uniform dress code, P.E. class, eating lunch at school, and many more new & exciting opportunities for her to grow spiritually and academically.
