Fun with Grandma Sue

Grandma Sue has been here visiting for the last week. She did a lot of playing and spoiling her favorite granddaughter! Lexi is going to miss Grandma. A BIG thank you to Grandma for all her help cooking and watching Lexi while she was here! Building Pumpkins

Daddy and Lexi took a stab at building eyes, noses, and mouths for a pumpkin.
Alexis earned her first L*we's apron and a couple of patches.

Goodbye to Auntie Sage

Today, we said goodbye to our dear friend, Sage. :( I met Sage in August 2005 at my previous employer, P.F. Chang's. She was a single girl who moved to the valley from California and we soon became good friends. Our friendship turned into being an "Arizona" family for each other. As soon as, Alexis arrived Sage found herself right at home being one of Lexi's Arizona Aunties. Sage will be attending law school next year in California so she has moved back to Fresno to do so. Sage, we are going to miss you. Lexi is going to miss chasing you around the chair and climbing on you. Sage always offered to babysit and I think soon we are going to realize we should have taken her up on more of those offers. I don't think reality has hit us yet that Sage is no longer just a mile or two down the road and willing to stop over at a moments notice. She will still be a phone call away and is always welcome to come and visit us! Till we see you again Auntie Sage - lots of hugs and kisses and best of luck!

Pumpkin Festival

Here are some great photos from Lexi's 1st trip to the pumpkin patch. So many pumpkins to play with, which one should we chose.We went to the pumpkin patch with another couple and their son Cameron, who is 3. He loved playing with Lexi, he would take her hand and walk with her (so cute).

The search for the Great Pumpkin of 2008!Alexis was very excited to ride the pony, Mommy on the other hand was very scared for Lexi to ride the pony. But she did great and had a good time!

Something that Lexi won't remember, but Daddy will. . . was they had their first dance together!
Can't wait to show these to her when she is older.This one will surely make another appearance when she goes to get married someday!

Fun with the Firetruck

Lexi and Daddy had a little outing together today without Mommy. It was a little father/daughter bonding time. Daddy took Lexi to the library to see the Firetruck and listen to the firefighters talk about their important jobs. She got her very own fire helmet! I think they had a great time!

Building at L*we's

While at L*we's today Mommy and I came across a skeleton craft table in the back. Mommy built the skeleton for me to play with. When I get bigger and can use my own hammer I will build my own. We are already looking forward to the next craft day when we build pumpkins.

What we are up to. . . .

For the month of October it is back to the pool for some more swim lessons and story time at the library.Lexi doesn't want to miss a thing at story time. She sits right in front of the teacher.

My New House and New Car

Playing at the Park

Finally, a nice fall day that isn't in the triple digits! We took a nice long walk to a new park and Lexi had such a great time. It was A LOT more exciting than our last trip to the park in May. She has grown so much and has a great time on every piece of playground equipment. Pink Lights

Yesterday we went to the lighting ceremony for the Pink Light District in downtown Scottsdale. We bought a pink light in honor of our friend Michelle who is undergoing treatment for Stage III breast cancer. The pink lights will remain illuminated for the month of October.Michelle and JakeAs you can see, Lexi enjoyed the lights!
