This is the first year we have done an advent calendar with Lexi but I wanted to help her understand the countdown to Christmas and Jesus' birthday. Here is the 2009 advent calendar at our house.
Christmas Socks with little treasures for Lexi in each sock
Each morning we look for the number and if she can't figure it out she gets hints about what's on the sock.
