Memorial Day Fun

Who needs Disneyland when you can take your kids to Babies'*'Us and give them a ride in the Mickey car for $.50 and they have a blast?A BIG thank you to all the men and women who put their lives on the line everyday for our freedom!

Do we look like sisters???

besides wearing the same outfit, do you see any similarities??Here are some facts about the two girls:
They are both the same age (only a few days difference).
Madison is about 1.5-2 lbs. heavier and 1 inch shorter than Alexis was at this age. I find this interesting because to me by looking at the pictures Alexis looks larger (she wins the prize for biggest sweet cheeks!)

I love my girls, I love this age, and I love the outfit! Sweet, sweet memories! :)

Ready, Set, Go . . .

get as many eggs as you can find and put in your basket. The girls attended the 3rd Annual NICU Easter Egg Hunt today. Madison wasn't too sure about the whole thing but big sister Lexi was there to help her fill her basket with eggs (and eat her chocolate)!

Madison - 6 months old

Madison is 6 months old today! I can't believe our little baby is growing up so fast.At 6 months these are precious memories from our day to day life:

* wakes up around 7 ish am
* does not sleep thru the night (we're preparing for "sleep camp" any day now)
* still sleeps in her bassinet in mommy & daddy's room
* wears size 3-6 month and 6 month clothes, size 2 shoes, and size 1-2 diapers
* loves to smile at her big sister and pull her hair
* says "goy, goy, goy" when you put her pacifier in her mouth
* can put her own pacifier in her mouth
* is a total mommy's girl
* breastfeeds 5-6 times a day
* eats 2 huge bowls of cereal a day (rice or oatmeal)
* rolls over from tummy to back (almost back to tummy)
* sits pretty well with the support of the boppy
* favorite activity is playing in the walker
* enjoys playing with her toes and occasionally chewing on them
* likes to scream and squeal
* loves to hold on to something when she is sleeping
* takes 2 naps a day (at home)
* does not nap on the go - she must be awake (doesn't want to miss a thing)
* still loves to be carried in the bjorn

Today, Madison and I attended Alexis' Valentine's Day party at her school. Alexis had lots of fun doing all sorts of heart crafts and having us there to see it all.
