Tonight, we went to the Carefree Light Parade with our friends Giavanna, JoAnn, & Tomas. It was a nice winter evening and we enjoyed watching the first ever light parade around Easy Street. There was snow and Santa and a good time was had by all.See how excited the girls were waiting for the parade to begin.
There were a few small ponies that captured Lexi's eye.

Cowboy Claus
Growing Big and Strong
Alexis had her 15 month well check with Dr. Z today. The visit went well and we have these stats to report: Weight: 21 lbs. 9 oz and Height: 31.75 inchesI think she would be really happy if Santa had room on his sleigh to bring her one of these! We will have to see if he thinks she has been good enough this year for a rocking animal.

In the Holiday Spirit
Our house will soon be transformed into a winter wonderland and Alexis is very excited. Every Christmas tree she sees, she says "Wow" and her eyes get really big! So in the spirit of Christmas and Old Saint Nick we have changed our blog background! Today, we are taking Alexis to see Santa - we will see how she likes sitting on his lap.

What we have been up to. . .
It's been awhile since our last blog. . .here are a few things that have happened since our last post:
~ Mommy had a birthday and we all celebrated together on her special day!
~ We went to the zoo with our friends
~ Spent the day with Daddy while Mom went to the spa to enjoy her Mother's Day gift.
~ Had a few playdates at the local parks
~ Grandma Sue had a birthday!
~ Had some Thanksgiving fun at Isabella's Turkey PartyPretending to be "Betty the Builder" with her little hard hat.
Alexis is in love with these little rocking animals. Here she is rocking on the snail at Isa's house.
Here is a peek into a day in the life of Alexis as a 14 month old:
~ new words: car, cup, dog, that
~ new sounds: Quack, Quack; Moo; Gobble, Gobble
~ she loves to give hugs, especially to her stuffed animals
~ putting shapes in the right holes
~ enjoys organizing the catalogs, mail, envelopes
~ building with her lego and little people blocks
~ And now that she has perfected walking, she likes to just walk around the house and roam. (video soon to come)
